About CreditCardCalcs
CreditCardCalcs is a free set of browser-based credit card and debt calculators. Everything runs in your browser — there is no account to create, no email to hand over, and nothing you type is saved or sent to a server. Enter a balance, an APR, and a monthly payment, and you get a clear answer in seconds.
What you can calculate here
The tools cover the questions people actually ask when a statement arrives. A payoff-time calculator shows how many months a balance takes to clear at a given payment. A minimum-payment calculator reveals how long you would be stuck — and how much interest you would pay — if you only sent the minimum each month. An APR and interest calculator breaks down the daily periodic rate behind your finance charge. A balance-transfer calculator weighs the transfer fee against the interest saved during a promotional 0% window. And our debt-payoff tools compare the snowball method (smallest balance first) against the avalanche method (highest APR first), so you can see which approach clears your cards faster and which one costs the least overall.
How the numbers are worked out
Every calculator uses standard, published formulas: credit card interest as a daily periodic rate applied to the balance, and fixed-payment amortization for payoff timelines. We show the math instead of hiding it behind card recommendations or "apply now" links, so you can check the logic yourself.
The results are estimates provided for educational and informational purposes only. They are not financial, credit, tax, or legal advice, and they are not an offer of credit or an application for any card. Your actual costs depend on your issuer's terms — how interest is compounded, fees, penalty APRs, promotional periods, and the timing of your payments — all of which vary by card and can change. For decisions about your accounts, read your cardholder agreement and consider speaking with a qualified financial professional.
Who runs CreditCardCalcs
CreditCardCalcs is built and operated by Express Services Group, based in Fresno, California. We keep a small family of free, no-signup calculators accurate and available. Spot a formula that looks off, or have a question? Email support@expressservicesgroup.com and a real person will read it.
How the site stays free
There is no subscription, no premium tier, and no paywall. The calculators are supported by unobtrusive display advertising. We do not sell specific cards, take referral commissions, or route you to affiliate signups. The calculator is the product, and the numbers are the point.
